Southern California students have cast their ballots and made one of the biggest decisions of their lifetimes by voting for a world powered by clean energy. Rather than electing just one clean energy candidate to rule them all, they learned that all green energy sources are essential to the future of our planet!

Global Inheritance, SoCalRen, and the Los Angeles + Burbank Unified School District (LAUSD) invited students to witness a power struggle unlike any other. The world's leading renewable energy sources – Solar, Wind, Geothermal, Hydrogen, Tidal, Nuclear, Biogas and Ethanol – engaged in four, epic head-to-head showdowns at the Discovery Cube Los Angeles!

These high-power superheroes were dropping their business cards and pitching why they deserve to be the future of renewable energy from the moment the kids rolled in, until the main event began.

This performance of the Energy Battle Royale focused on three rounds of single-elimination competitions where each source rapped about their superpowers and the shortcomings of their rivals. Students participate by cheering for their favorite energy source, which decides who advances to the next round. Just before the final match-up, Ursus the Polar Bear interrupts the match to plead for the energy sources to set aside the battle, and come together as one to fight climate change and power the clean energy movement for future generations.

Thanks to all of the students, a new beginning is on the rise - but challenges remain around every corner. What happens next? Find out next time… or send us an email, the energy sources are ready to reply.
