Global Inheritance at Winter X Games 10 in Aspen
September 09, 2010
If you roamed the slopes of Aspen, Colorado the last week of January, you probably noticed the largest winter recycling movement ever. Thanks to the hundreds of active heads, the ESPN Winter X Games and X Games Enviromentality™, the TRASHed :: Recycling Store kept the mountains clean, provided recycling knowledge, and showcased different ways to redesign your recycling bins.
People exchanged their empty bottles & cans or composted in order to take home Kangol hats, Netflix memberships, or many other cool TRASHed :: Recycling Store merchandise. Los Angeles-based artist Mark Farina provided live recycling bin painting in the athlete lounge to a captivated audience. Special thanks goes out to all the companies helping to stock the TRASHed :: Recycling Store with cool stuff. This list includes Warner Brothers, V2, Logitech, Kangol, Etnies, Netflix, Mountain Dew, Burton, Spy, Filter, ESL music, and more.
Nothing is possible without great people to help bring everything together. Thank you Kristin, Erin, Tara, Michelle, Christiane, Marialyce, Kate, Ian and Mark.
